ロマンチックなスマホケースです

Kensuke Hosoyaさんの写真がとても良い。作品を知ったきっかけは、InstagramのStoryで流れてきたyeyeさんのスマホケース。無地の青にデザートがどーんと載ったそのケースはかなりカッコ良かった。

Suzuriで調べると、同じシリーズでいくつも種類があった。どれも無地の背景に食品（お菓子が多い）ひとつと、その影が右方向に落ちている。この影があることで、無地の背景に絶妙なグラデーションがかかり、立体的なイメージになっている。そのせいか、どこかレンダリングされたCGのような雰囲気だけれど、CGよりも情報量がある気がする。

どの作品も『ロマンチックなスマホケースです』という説明書き。

ケースを購入しようと思ったが、12Pro向けのPreviewではプリントサイズの都合でレイアウトが変わり、少しお菓子が大きくなりすぎてしまった。ので、一旦保留。

少し調べてみると、Web系の仕事をされているらしい。ということで、やんわりと親近感が湧く。

撮影をする際のこだわりやルール。割と自分はパシャパシャと気になったものを撮ってしまう節があるので、ひとつ、そう言った基準を明確に設けてみるのも良いのかもしれない。

Kensuke Hosoya’s photos are very good. The first time I saw his work was when I saw a phone case that musician “yeye” was carrying on Instagram Story. The plain blue case with a dessert image on it was pretty cool.

When I looked up Suzuri store, I found that there were several types of the same series. All of them had one food item (mostly sweets) on a plain background with its shadow falling to the right. The shadows give the plain background an exquisite gradation, giving it a three-dimensional image. Perhaps that’s why it looks somewhat like a rendered CG, but I think it has more information than CG.

Each piece has a description that says, “This is a romantic phone case.

I was going to buy a case, but the preview for the 12Pro changed the layout due to the print size, making the sweets a little too big. So I put it on hold.

I did a little research and found out that he works in the web field. So I felt a soft familiarity with him.

Do you have any particular standards when you take pictures? I tend to take pictures of things that I like, so it might be a good idea to set a clear standard.
